Age 98, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Yuen 'Louie' Fong, mother of Millie (Robert) Kitchin, Shirley Fong, Eileen (Christopher) Ng, Nancy (Robert) Lingg, and Christine (James) Bradshaw; grandmother of Lisa and David Kitchin, Jennifer (Steven) Lai, Danielle Lingg, and Ian and Seth Bradshaw; great-grandmother of Nicholas Lai. Born in Guangdong Province, China, in 1927, June immigrated to the United States in 1948 with her beloved husband, beginning a new chapter of life together. June supported her husband, Louie, by working alongside him in his laundry business. Among her special talents were cooking Chinese specialties, making paper flowers, and sewing stylish clothing. She was a devoted and loving mother who took great joy in sharing her cooking techniques and treasured family recipes with her daughters. Her other interests, traveling with her family and visiting botanical gardens, reflected her deep appreciation for beauty and nature. Over the course of her 98 years, she journeyed to many destinations across the United States and abroad. June lived a full and meaningful life and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends received at William F. Gross Funeral Home, Ltd. 11735 Frankstown Rd. (at Rodi Rd.), Penn Hills on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 11 a.m.
