Annunzio R. Stellitano

Age 93, died peacefully, Monday, January 2, 2017, with his sons at his bedside. He was born on January 24, 1923, in Sharpsburg. After marrying Jean (Rinchiuso) in 1964, they resided in the Penn Hills area for over 50 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 52 years, Jean; his loving sons Michael (Anita), and Leonard (Domenica); cherished grandchildren Isabella and Juliana; siblings Mary Napoli, Theresa Urso, Joe Petrone and the late Mary Procopio; and many nieces and nephews.

He was a proud World War II Veteran Serving as a US Army Infantryman in the Philippines and as a member of the Allied Occupation force in Japan. During that time he earned the Combat Infantryman’s badge and The Bronze Star medal. Annunzio worked for the US post Office for 40 years and finished his career in the Penn Hills Branch. He followed our Lord Jesus and was a devoted member of St. Bartholomew’s church in Penn Hills for over 50 years. Annunzio was a humble and loving person who left a legacy of faith to his children.
