Thomas Patrick “Moe” Tom” Fitzgerald
Thomas, known as Moe or Tom by Friends and Family, passed away on April 22, 2020. He passed peacefully after a battle with Alzheimer’s. The Peaceful sound of Irish music, “May the road rise up to meet you” and thoughts of the love of his life, Gerry, waiting for him in Heaven carried him away! Tom and Gerry embraced 63 years of marriage before she passed in September 2018. We are sure they are together today side by side enjoying the life they always knew together. We all know the iced tea and dinner, a cold beer and dancing shoes were ready for him!
To those of us who called him DAD, Tom, Jr. (Janice) Fitzgerald, Cathy (Ed) Bell, Bob Fitzgerald and Sue (Jeff) Predmore, your patient, kind loving ways will never be forgotten. They will live on in each of us as a daily tribute to all you shared with us in your lifetime.
To those who called him PAP, Tim (Beth), Jessica (Brian), Elijah (Amanda), Ed, Dylan, Erica, Ryan, Justin and Morgan, the fond memories they each have will forever keep you alive in their hearts. Also loved by six great-grandchildren.
The group who called him Brother, Mike and Linda Fitzgerald, Pat Brattina, Jim Fitzgerald, Bill and Erma Carrell and Linda and Dave Wheaton, the fun and Laughter will forever live in all of us created by this group!
In our world today we cannot celebrate his life together at this time. A private ceremony will be held on April 24, 2020 so we can lay Dad to rest in Peace.
