Patricia Ann Liberto
A beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Patricia Ann Liberto passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Daytona Beach, Florida after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born on June 8, 1956, A native of Plum Borough, Patty graduated from Seton Hill College in 1978, earning a degree in financial administration and accounting. Patty proudly worked as the treasurer in the family business, R.J. Liberto, Inc., before expanding her career at Giant Eagle Corporate and CVS Caremark in billing. Known for her sense of humor, infectious laugh, and larger-than-life personality, Patty loved spending time with loved ones – talking up a storm, laughing, playing cards, and doing scratch-off lottery tickets! She will be dearly missed by those closest to her. In joining her cherished mother, Carmella “Boots” Liberto, grandparents, and two brothers, Patty is survived by her sisters: Donna Wisnesck, Mary Lou Costello, Diana Koch, Vicki Fletcher, and Cathy Oliver, and brothers: Charlie and Mark, as well as many nieces and nephews. A woman of unrelenting faith, Patty will be remembered affectionately for her quick wit, bright light, compassion, kindness, strength, and resilience.
At Patty’s request, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial for family and friends will be held at Holy Family Parish St. Januarius Church, 1450 Renton Road, Plum, PA 15239 on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at church. Joseph “Joe” J. Szypulski
Of Penn Hills, formerly of Swissvale, passed away suddenly Thursday, January 12, 2023. Son of the late Ted and Irene; beloved husband of Jolinda (Eckman); father of Jessica Claypool; grandfather of Alyssa, Madison, Victoria, Bradley, Rylee, Harper, and Gracie; great-grandfather of Aleah, Kyro, and Roman; brother of Carol (Ronald) Shea, Richard (the late Wendy) Szypulski, and Robert (Linda) Szypulski. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Joe is a retired Penn Hills School District Custodian.

Age 80, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Daughter of the late Amico and Mary Ranallo; beloved wife of 54 years to Joseph A. Pella; mother of Christine (Bob) Hoffmann and Linda Pella; grandmother of Gianna and Robbie Hoffmann; sister-in-law of Philomena Stamerra, Elaine (Edward) Ribar, and the late Marie (Rich) Branzel. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ann Marie worked in the catering department at the University of Pittsburgh for 35 years before retirement. She was a devout Catholic that enjoyed Sunday pasta dinners with her family, but her greatest joy was watching her grandchildren grow up.
