Age 83, of Homewood, on Monday August 28, 2017. Husband of the late Jewel Anderson of 50 years. Father of Mary Beddingfield, Tamia (Andre) Sanders and Tony Thompson; grandfather of August Gunderson; Alan Beddingfield; great-grandfather of Caleb, Isaac and Kyan Gunderson; also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at the William F. Gross Funeral Home, 11735 Frankstown Road Pittsburgh, PA 15235 Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Final Respects will take place 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held in Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 271 Paulson Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Charles Patrick Hicks
Born March 17th 1965, passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 17th, 2017, after a three-year fight with esophageal cancer. He owned his own business, Reliable Sewer and Drain Cleaning, for 30 years. He is survived by his wife Janice Hicks; daughter Casey Hicks; mother Mary Margaret Galdes; and his three brothers and one sister. He is preceded in death by his father John (surviving Marilyn) Hicks.
