Theresa Ann Galiano (Suriano)
Age 79, of Churchill, passed on to eternal life on August 11, 2014, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved wife of Paul for 58 years, mother of Kim Batcha, Paula Galiano (Greg Carchidi), Maria Galiano; grandmother to Marco Batcha (Lindsay), Erica Galiano Balestra (Ryan) and Catherine Batcha; great-grandmother to Sophia and Charlotte Batcha; sister to Joseph Suriano (Patty), John Suriano (Jeannie); sister in-law to Rosemary Galiano Marcus; preceded in death by her parents James and Catherine, her sister Helen Orsi (Ray), brother Jimmy (Sally) and sons Frank (Judy) and Tony Galiano.
She leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Theresa had a beautiful life and her passing was more of a celebration of this life; as she often said in her last weeks, she was so blessed to have such a wonderful loving family as they gathered nightly at her bedside. She loved the overwhelming camaraderie and support for her husband and children. She was known for her sense of humor, her beautiful smile and her extreme generosity to family and friends. She was the best mother, wife, grandmother and aunt
a person could ever have.

Dennis G. Kociban
Dennis Kociban passed from this earth on 7/30/14 in Penn Hills. He was pre-deceased by his father John “Jerry” Kociban and mother Genevieve “Jean” Kociban. He is survived by his sons Christopher Kociban and Matthew D Hoffman; sisters Nancy, Donna, Andrea, and Carolyn; Desiree Kretzschmar mother of son Christopher; adopted daughter Zoila Eggers and her family; Niece Kelley (Daren)Franklin and family Daren Jr., Cameron, and Savanna; and cousins on both sides of the family in Ohio, Pittsburgh., and Philadelphia. Dennis graduated from Penn Hills High School in 1966, was an outstanding student, and excelled in wrestling and gymnastics. Dennis always enjoyed hanging with his buddies, chipping golf balls in the front yard, throwing football, and generally analyzing and critiquing all aspects of life. He was granted a wrestling scholarship at and graduated from Purdue Univ. He furthered his education at Carnegie Mellon Univ. and ultimately pursued a career in the investment industry. The family extends deep thanks and gratitude to all who shared their love and care with Dennis throughout the course of his illness. His doctors, nurses, and other health care providers travelled a journey with him that expanded their relationships with medicine and hope in directions they otherwise would not have known such measure of human tenacity.
