Yolanda A. “Topper” Troiano
Age 95, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully Monday, July 31, 2023. Sister of the late Michael Troiano, Sr., Mary Troiano, Rose Troiano, Frances Ventrone, Philomena Troiano, and Virginia Deleonibus. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Topper was a proud longtime employee of Bearings Inc. She loved spending time with her family especially around the holidays and had a great love for her dogs. Age 96, of Highland Park, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Saturday, July 29, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Rocco; mother of Donna (the late Eddie) Dott, Joseph (Marlayne) DeRenzo, Frances DeRenzo, Michael DeRenzo, Nick (Joyce) DeRenzo, MaryLou (Pete) Chirumbolo, Jackie (Buddy) Balzer, and the late Rocco DeRenzo, Jr.; Nana of Eddie, Jr., Melissa, Keith, Evan, Daniel, Justin “PJ”, Rocco III, Joseph, Dominic, Christina, Joseph, Amanda, Marissa, Lisa, Ashley, Jessica, Brittney, and the late Sara; great-nana of Grace, Dante, Gia, Emilia, Lucy, Nina Carmella, Ezri, and Alex; sister of the late Dom Scocco, Dolores Tramontina, Dorothy Mansour. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Dolly was a Westinghouse High School graduate, avid card player, and gardener. She loved a trip to the casino. She was a lunch aid at Dilworth School but her greatest accomplishment was creating a beautiful and loving family.

George John Myers
Age 99, of Penn Hills passed away peacefully at home Monday, July 31, 2023, with family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Ellen Jane (Rupp) Myers. He was the loving father of Mary Ellen (late Larry) Craver, Cathy (Ron) Haluck, and Mary Anne (Tim) Territo; cherished Pap-pap of Christina (Chris) Evancho, Justin (Megan) Craver, Caitlyn (David) Kirchner, Ashley Craver (fiance Logan), Joseph Hall (fiancée Courtney), Christopher Craver (fiancée Nicole), and Ronnie Haluck; and great-grandfather of Jordan Craver, Jaxon Craver, and Wyatt Kirchner.
George was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy and a devout Roman Catholic of the former St. Bartholomew's Church. He loved reading the daily newspaper and watching sports (golf & the Pirates), but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Age 93, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Friday, July 28, 2023. Beloved wife of Robert W. Ireland, Sr.; mother of Colleen (the late Fred Murock) Ireland, Patricia Ireland, Mary Beth (Jim) Held, Robert (Laurie) Ireland, Jr., Cathleen (Mark) Zilner, Jennifer (David Solomon) Ireland; grandmother of Scott Koss, Joshua (Caitlin) Ireland, James (Karli) Held, Haley Held, Liam Kress, Hayden Zilner; great-grandmother of Benjamin, Edison, Nora and Hugo; also survived by dear cousin William Valentine, nieces and nephews.
Jeanie was a 1951 Pittsburgh Hospital School of Nursing Graduate. Her true passion in life, aside from raising her family, was nursing. She had a remarkable career spanning from Pittsburgh Hospital to private duty nursing and retirement from Presbyterian Senior Care.
