James William “Jimmy” DiNatale
72 of Pittsburgh, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023 after a battle with cancer. Jimmy was born on July 7, 1950 to Emanuel V. and Virginia “Jean” DiNatale in Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating from Peabody High School in 1968, he went on to study cosmetology at the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. Jimmy is survived by his 3 sons, Emanuel (Kelly), James and Nicholas; his grandchildren, Kara, Emanuel Jr, and Kaitlyn; his siblings, Blaise (Dianne) DiNatale, Maria (Bob) Winklmann, Manny (Carla) DiNatale, and Jane (late Alex) Gionta. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Betty Sue “Liz” Nerone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his Regis family and friends. Jimmy worked in cosmetology for over 50 years and in doing so, met numerous friends and traveled the world. His work industry kept him into the latest trends and he was truly young at heart. Jimmy had a passion for music and the arts, enjoyed movies, reading, frequenting the casino and scratch-offs. He always wore black clothes and proudly wore his fedora. He enjoyed spending his retirement with his talented grandchildren and his friends. Eleanor H. “Ellie” Russo (Jonnotti)
Age 89, of Plum, passed away peacefully Friday, June 30, 2023. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late James; mother of James C. (Mary Lynn) Russo, Rick (Susie) Russo, Gina (Joseph) Sonafelt, and Vincent Russo; grandmother of Antonette (Chad) Medved, Marissa, John, Joseph Jr., Emma, Isabella, and Sheridan; sister of the late Anthony Jonnotti, Ursula Jonnotti, Edward Jonnotti, Victor, and Rita. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Ellie graduated Westinghouse High School and attended Carnegie Tech. She was a secretary for J. Rick Excavating Co. alongside of her husband for many years. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Church, Silver Sneakers, and a poll worker for many local elections. Joseph A. “Little Joe” Barbieri
Age 84, of Plum, formerly of Penn Hills, born on August 22, 1938, in Maierato, Prov. Vibo Valencia, Calabria, Italy, passed away peacefully June 24, 2023. Beloved husband of 60 years to Vincie Tresco Barbieri; proud father of Joseph P. (Heather), Vincent A. (Mary), and Lynn (Steve) Forbeck; adoring grandfather of Alexandra, Vinnie, and Mason Barbieri; son of the late Giuseppe and Giovanna Barbieri; brother of the late Paul (Emma Jean), late Nicola (Filomena), late Teresa (Gregorio) Malta, surviving Mary Grace (the late Gregorio) Distilo, late Elisa (Antonio) Fusca, and late Concetta (surviving Gesue) Febbraro; son-in-law of the late Vince and Mary Tresco; brother-in-law of Marie (the late Domenic) Pietropaolo and Sonny (Diana) Tresco. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph came to the United States in 1951 when he was 11 years old. From the time he came to his new home, he had many trades until he started his own landscaping business, which he had for over 40 years until he retired to enjoy his family and his garden.

Daniel C. “Danny” Valerio, Jr.
Age 75, of Wilkins Twp., passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023. Son of the late Daniel C. and Margaret Valerio; brother of Diane (John) Hughes. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Danny was most recently working in advertising sales. He was a graduate of Penn Hills High School and Carnegie Mellon University. His greatest love in life was music and making music with “magic moments”.

Audrey A. Pritchard (O’Rourke)
Age 87, of Penn Hills, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Donald “Herk” E. Pritchard; mother of Debbie Wise, Don (Kelly) Pritchard, and Lori (Quang) Nguyen; grandmother of Michelle (Joel) Bubbenmoyer, Jon (Nikki) Wise, Emma Pritchard, and Madison and Sydney Nguyen; great-grandmother of Hudson, Jaxson, and Aubrey; aunt of Tony Serrao and Spencer Jones and many other nieces and nephews; sister of Jack (Shirlene) O’Rourke and the late Jan (surviving Joe) Chiusano; sister-in-law of Dorothy (the late Bob) Mink. She is also survived by her close friends Sally and Rosie and her favorite hairdresser for 30 years, Kathy Powers. Audrey was proud to have volunteered many hours for the Allegheny County Sportsman League.
