William “Bill” P. Chiavaroli
Age 98, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully Monday, January 18, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Irene Chiavaroli; father of Kathryn Fisher and Maria (David) Franco; grandfather of Ronald (Rachel) Fisher, Amy Fisher (Max) Gil, Melinda (Jason) Domer, Taylor Franco and David William Franco; great grandfather of D.J. Zidek, Vanessa Fisher-Gil, Leo Fisher-Gil, Jhackzon Gil, Jacob Domer and Sophia Domer; brother of Yolanda “Sis” Gamrat and the late Florence Friday, Laura “Tootsie” Chiavaroli, and John Chiavaroli. Bill was a retired steamfitter and a member of Local Union 449 for 74-years. He was a proud US Navy veteran during WWII. Bill was a member of The Duquesne Canoe Club where he enjoyed boating and fishing with his friends and family for many years. Bill thoroughly enjoyed life, especially the time and memories he made with his family. Margaret Hazel (Kiser) Frank, "Marge"
loving wife and mother, passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 80 following an extended illness. In her final months she was cared for at home by several close friends and family.
She was born in North Bessemer, PA on July 11, 1940 to Paul Joseph Kiser and Nettie "Marie" (Christian) Kiser. She was a 1958 graduate of Penn Township High School (Present-Day Municipality of Penn Hills).
She married her husband of 61 years, Robert J. Frank (Bob) on May 30, 1959. She and Bob lived in Glasgow, Montana while Bob was stationed at Glasgow AFB. Marge returned home by train via the Great Northern Railroad, one of her most significant memories as she was pregnant with her daughter. Shelley was born in October 1963, one day before Bob was discharged from the Air Force.
She (and Bob) spent most of her life in Penn Hills, PA where Marge worked as a homemaker and grocery store cashier while raising Shelley, and later her son Robert who was born in March 1965. Marge continued raising her children while spending as much time as possible gardening. She loved her yard which was filled with various annuals, perennials, herbs, and a vegetable garden. She enjoyed weekend/day trips in the country, exploring, antiquing, golfing and visiting her children and granddaughter Beth. She loved her family more than anything!
In 1986, Marge returned to school at Allegheny County Community College where she obtained her Associate's Degree in Nursing, achieving a 4.0 grade average which she was extremely proud. She worked as and RN at Central Medical in Pittsburgh for a number of years before developing challenging illnesses which later limited her ability to do the things she loved.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Bob (December 10, 2020), her parents, brothers David Kiser and James Kiser.
She is survived by her brothers Charles Kiser, William Kiser, and Paul G. Kiser, daughter Shelley (John) Pokrivka, son Robert (Carin) Frank, granddaughter Elizabeth “Beth” Pokrivka; step-grandchildren Adam (Charlea) Fullum, Thomas (Kayla) Fullum; step-great grandchildren Cameron, Reese, and Reagan Fullum.

A grave-side service for family and friends will be held at Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum, PA on January 18 at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Saint Jude Hospital or Saint Joseph’s Indian School, Chamberlain, SD.
Raymond J. “Radio Ray” Cichoski, Jr.
Age 54, of Verona, Passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021. Beloved husband of Traci; father of Raymond J. Cichoski, III; brother of Mary (Jack) Tarr, Patricia, (Tom) Wilson, and Carol (Joe) Poli; also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a great-great niece. “Radio Ray” worked as a radio repairman for the Pittsburgh Port Authority. Family and friends will be received at William F. Gross Funeral Home at 11735 Frankstown Road (at Rodi Road) in Penn Hills on Wednesday, January, 13 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January, 14 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, St. Bernadette Church at 10:00 a.m. We will be following COVID-19 state guidelines.
Nancy E. Galeza
Age 89, of Penn Hills, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Harry C. Galeza; mother of Daniel, Tim (Debbie), and John Galeza; grandmother of Heather, Aubrey, and Valerie; great grandmother of Tommy, Ana, Arye, Lily, and Veda; aunt of Terry Klazer. She was a loving mother and had a deep love for animals, especially her many dogs over the years. “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain” Philippians 1:21. Richard “Rich” H. Leffler
Age 74, of Penn Hills, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Pennwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilkinsburg. Born August 31, 1946, in Pittsburgh, to his late parents; Vincent L. Leffler and Frances C. Leffler (Sanker). He is survived by siblings Vincent F. (Mary A.) Leffler Yvonne (the late Paul) Rathgeb and the late Anthony James Leffler, Frances R. Feldmeier, and M. Patricia Shibble. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and he served in the United States Navy. Rich was an avid reader of the History of the United States of America. He was an active member of AA for over 45 years and a founding member of the Camel Club in Penn Hills.
